Stravinksy: Trash Into Treasure
Jacob Stravinsky is a cellist who builds instruments from scratch out of found objects. This documentary shadows Jacob as he creates one of his cellos from start to finish, from finding a piece of wood in a dumpster to playing it all in one day.
I made this documentary to highlight Jacob because of his unique process and vision. He inspires me as an artist and musician to think outside the box and create with what’s in front of you.

Nick Williams: Continuity
Nick Williams makes original lo-fi music on his Tascam tape machine. I have been inspired by his process and sound to make music videos with him around NYC.
I have made many music videos with Nick, you can find the rest of his videos on Youtube

Marginalia from the J express: Luke Alexander
This ambient project by Luke Alexander takes field recordings of sounds in New York and pairs them with synths and drones to create a dark atmospheric sound.
I had the pleasure of creating video collages over these tracks based on the feel and sound of the project. I took footage of cityscapes, trains, and people to develop an objective, observational type of viewpoint.

Bliss
I made this video for my song, “Bliss”. This song is about making music, and the energy it takes to do so.
I used Blender to create a custom 3D font which was used for the lyrics. The footage is taken from one morning on my daily commute.

Ocean
In middle school, I won a film competition from the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society about World Oceans Day. I used my own footage from scuba diving and my trip to Ireland to explain why the ocean is so important.
As a prize, my film was sound remixed by Karen Baker Landers, an Oscar-winning Sound Mixer in a Hollywood studio. It was premiered at the Egyptian Theatre on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles.

I’ll Just Do It
This song was made on my 4-track Tascam cassette tape machine. I love the sound of synths into tape and wanted to experiment with my effects pedals/OP-1.
The video was made on a bike ride home from Bushwick to Brooklyn Heights and was edited that night in Premiere Pro.
